So since this is my first post I will fill you in on my son. His name is Henry and he is about 4 1/2 months old, he was born big and has stayed between the 85%-95% since birth. He is a rather low maintenance baby unless he is hungry, then it IS the end of the world as we know it. Other than his intense hunger he is a very happy boy. We co-sleep with him for the time being, may be moving him to his own room soon in the hopes that he may sleep more than 2 hours at a time... I am sure a post will come soon detailing those woes. I am currently researching cloth diapering because I loathe disposables, I was forced to formula feed due to him losing too much weight and my boob juice not coming in. We chose to keep our son intact and baby wear as often as we can. I think that about covers our parenting style for now.
So on to my thought for the day.
My child needs to slow down on this growing up stuff.
All the things that scare me:
He is already in 9 month clothes!
He rolled under the coffee table in about 2 seconds.
He scooted from one side of the bed to the other.
He began crawling backwards this afternoon.
I swear he said mom to me... I may be crazy on that one but I have video proof!
He likes to stand whenever you will help him.
He tried peas the other day and actually ate them!
Henry, this is your mom, slow down. Please for mommy's sanity and emotional stability, be a baby a bit longer.
You don't want to make your mom cry do you?
